To accelerate the coating degradation and evaluate the coating anticorrosion performance correctly, one untraditional accelerated method, which is called AC-DC-AC accelerated testing method, was introduced here. The research history and recent development of AC-DC-AC accelerated testing method were reviewed. The theory foundation, the mechanism of accelerating coating degradation as well as the three key process of testing method were presented. The application prospect of this method was discussed on this basis. |
