Abstract: |
To study the deformation and fracture form of cannon-shot and gun barrel, double-deck metal cylindrical tube was used to build a simple model of breech bursts. Then the breech bursts were simulated by LS-DYNA, using different TNT filling modes and detonation modes. The results showed the demolishing process and fracture forms of different breech burst types. The numerical simulation method and result can be reference to study some practicalities like the cannonball exploded in the gun barrel during shooting. |
