Abstract:
Solar wind is one of the radiation environments on moon. The performances of lunar lander are greatly affected by solar wind or synergistic environments of solar wind and other lunar surface environments. So simulation test equipments should be used to study the effects of solar wind. The requirements of the solar wind simulation facilities were presented here. The key subsystems of the simulation facilities were studied, including proton source, electron sources, measuring instrument for particle flux density and vacuum system. The capabilities of each subsystem were presented such as the energy and the flux densities of the radiation particles, and the vacuum. It was proposed that ultraviolet source and simulated lunar dust system should also be included to build a systematic and complete lunar surface environment simulation test equipment.
