Abstract: |
Objective To investigate the habitability of one type of warship and offer guidance for warship design. Methods Subjective investigation questionnaire covering the habitability of work and life areas was designed, and 200 seamen in one type of warship were chosen as the object. Results The seamen gave high evaluation to the temperature, humidity, draught, illuminance, color, accommodation of water and food. But they thought the odor of work and life areas, area of living quarter, dishware cleanout, space and frequency of shower, clothes cleanout and resource of entertainment were dissatisfactory. Conclusion The habitability of the warship could basically meet the seamen’ s demand and there were some aspects remaining to be improved. |
