Abstract:
Objective To analyze equivalent method of surface corrosion damage area of aluminum alloy. Methods The KH-7700 3D optical microscopy was used for corrosion image processing. Elliptical rules of geometry were used to correct corrosion damage area. Combined with the Gumbel, normal, two-parameter Weibull and log normal model, the distribution analysis of corrected corrosion damage area was conducted. Results Compared with correlation coefficient, it was concluded that the corrosion damage area correction obeyed the normal distribution model superior to the Gumbel, two parameter Weibull and log normal model. Conclusion Rectangle inscribed ellipse more truly reflected the corrosion damage of the area, so it can provide technical support for quantitative analysis of corrosion damage in engineering practice.
