| Objective To clean the aircraft surface, keep aircraft clean and beautiful, remove corrosive media and contaminants, so as to avoid the surface corrosion of aircraft. Methods Six different kinds of aircraft cleaners (AHC-1, AHC-5, Delec, TFQX-1, Cee Bee 280, Calla Solve 120) were selected which were used for engineering application in aircraft maintenance. The performances of the six kinds of cleaners were evaluated according to MIL-PRF-85570D and GJB 5974—2007. Results The comparison of the test samples according to the test methods in the standards showed that TFQX-1 and Calla Solve 120 had the best performance of cleaning. Conclusion Aircraft cleaning is the first step in preventing aircraft corrosion. The application of the two different kinds of aircraft cleaning (TFQX-1 and Calla Solve 120) in the daily aircraft maintenance is an effective means to prevent corrosion and cleaning, which is valuable for popularization and application. |
