Abstract:
Objective To study the inhibition effect of THFS-10 pial corrosion inhibitor and THFS-15 long-term epidural corrosion inhibitor on the galvanic corrosion of a certain naval equipment structure in the marine environment. Methods The equivalent soaking measurement method was used to obtain polarization curves and AC impedance spectroscopies of ZL115-T5 cast aluminum alloy, 30CrMnSiA steel and C41500 Navy brass in different conditions. Based on the boundary condition and the boundary element method, the galvanic corrosion behavior of the structure which was overlaied by the corrosion inhibitor was simulated. The effect of the two inhibitors on the galvanic corrosion of this dissimilar metal connecting structure was obtained by contrasting and analyzing the result of simulation. Results THFS-15 could significantly reduce the galvanic corrosion of the three kinds of different materials, but the galvanic corrosion between these three materials was accelerated to a certain extent when THFS-10 was used. Conclusion According to the simulation results, some specific usage suggestions and notes of THFS-10 and THFS-15 were given out.
