Abstract:
Objective To study the coating layer of Pr3 :Y2SiO5 / TiO2 composite membrane structure and visible light catalytic properties. Methods The Pr3 :Y2SiO5 / TiO2 layer of coating film was prepared by dip-coating method with carbon fiber as the film carrier respectively by butyl titanate (TBOT) and ethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as precursor to made the Pr doping Y2SiO5 gel and TiO2 gel by sol-gel method. The influences of the composite membrane prepared by layer coating on the composite membrane structure, morphology and photocatalytic properties were studied. Results show that through SEM, composite film has obvious stratification, topography is smooth, and there is less reunion; the performance of Composite film is strongly influenced by coating the order. Conclusion The composite membrane of in turn coating Pr3 :Y2SiO5 and TiO2 have good photocatalytic properties. With visible light lighting two hours, the rate of methylene blue decolorization can reach 94%; its visible light catalytic efficiency is higher than 59% of TiO2 thin film.
