Abstract:
Objective To explore application of dry plate sampling method in monitoring Cl- in beach atmosphere. Methods In view of the saturation phenomenon of Cl- monitoring in Hainan beach, reasons and influencing factors were analyzed, corresponding measures on making monitoring plans were put forward, and characterization methods of the test results were also presented. Results Saturation occurred during the 7 days and 19 days of Cl- monitoring at sampling point 1 and 2 of Area “A” and the offshore platform of Wanning station. There was no saturation at sampling point 3 in the 3 sampling periods. Conclusion In the atmospheric environment of the beach, there is a strong correlation between wave height and deposition rate of Cl- in the air. Reducing the sampling time, increasing the number of samples, appropriately increasing the number of parallel samples and the number of monitoring points can reduce influences of monitoring results of saturation phenomenon. The sedimentation rate of Cl- is 7.61 mg/(100 cm2•d) in the beach of area “A”. The sedimentation rate of Cl- can be determined to be greater than 5.99 mg/(100 cm2•d) in the beach of Wanning station.
