Abstract:
      The lattice sandwich structures were classified according to the material type and lattice structure, and the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of lattice sandwich structures were analyzed from the static and dynamic mechanical properties. It briefly described the design process, and gave comprehensive consideration to the influencing factors, such as material, structure and function. According to the need of different operating conditions, matching design was carried out on each impact factor to meet different functional requirements on heat transfer characteristics, electromagnetic shielding properties acoustic characteristics, etc. And then, the main manufacturing process of composite lattice sandwich structure (embedded lock assembly, die extrusion forming, interspersed with woven) and metal lattice sandwich structure (stamping forming, extrusion line cutting, stretching nets folding, lapping assembly, investment casting, and additive manufacturing) were introduced. Finally, it was put forward that how to match design factor with multi-objective for optimization design is the key research direction of the lattice sandwich structure of light weight and high strength. The light weight and high strength lattice sandwich structure should be developed in the direction of the multi-material and composite structure to develop new manufacturing process, improve the cost effectiveness, and solve the problem on lattice sandwich materials.
