Abstract:
      This paper analyzes the research progress on the cook-off test and numerical simulation of energetic materials at home and abroad, mainly the research results of the cook-off test of explosives and propellants, as well as the research results of cook-off numerical simulation of the ammunition system filled with energetic materials. The analysis results found that the small-scale energetic cook-off test technology is the focus of the current cook-off test. The visualization of the cook-off process and the quantification of the cook-off response are the key technologies for the cook-off test. The small-scale cook-off test research combined with the cook-off numerical simulation is an important method to evaluate the thermal safety of ammunition systems. The improvement of cook-off numerical models (thermo-mechanical-chemical coupled cook-off models) is the future development trend.
