Abstract:
Combined with the generation and movement mechanism of sand dust, this paper explains the design principle and application characteristics of sand dust test chambers, focuses on the analysis of air temperature and humidity and sand dust particle diameter ratio during sand blowing, and probes into the uniformity of particle concentration in the gas-solid two-phase flow. Based on the movement characteristics of sand dust, the closed circulation sand blowing test equipment widely used in China can not effectively separate sand. As a result, the proportion of particle diameter in the test process of sand blowing test chamber does not meet the requirements of GJB 150.12a. In MIL-STD-810H, the requirement of relative humidity ≤30% for sand blowing test has been canceled. Based on the different environmental effects caused by dust and sand blowing, combined with the principle of dust and sand blowing test equipment and the current situation of existing equipment in China, suggestions and opinions on the improvement of existing test methods and calibration specifications and the improved design of sand dust test chambers are put forward. At the same time, this paper also introduces several different types of sand dust test chambers abroad, such as open, closed cycle and variable cycle, as a reference. Based on the failure mechanism of sand dust test, the classification and selection suggestions of sand dust test chambers are put forward.
