Abstract:
      The work reviewed the domestic and international research on HTPB propellant in terms of aging experiments and characterization methodologies, aging mechanism, model construction and life prediction. By comparing the domestic and international research history of HTPB propellant, the overall research gap between China and foreign countries was clarified. According to the literature retrieval, compared with international research history, domestic research had the characteristics of late start and rapid development. On this basis, the domestic research prospects were proposed accordingly, including the deep investigation of the mechanism of multi-factor coupling aging, fast evaluation methods, advanced monitoring methods, optimized evaluation models, and anti-aging, so as to provide more reference for the aging research of HTPB propellant.
