Abstract: |
Exposure test of carbon steel Q235 was carried in chemical industry atmospheric environment of Wuhan petrochemical factory district for half a year. The initial period corrosion rate of the steel was surveyed; the sample rust level characteristic after exposure was analyzed using scanning electron microscope and XRD observation; the electrochemical impedance spectrum of the rust test specimen was measured. Result showed that the main corrosion products of carbon steel Q235 after exposure for half a year is mainly Fe( 2 SO4) 3·nH2O, FeSO4·nH2O, FeOOH, and Fe(OH)(SO4)(H2O) ; the rust layer formed in the initial period has certain hindrance function to the corrosion development. |
