The corrosion behaviors of X80pipeline steel in ku′erle and high pH(0.5mol/L Na2CO3 +1mol/L NaHCO3)soil simulated solutions were investigated using immersion weight loss, potentiodynamic potential polarization and EIS; the corrosion macro-morphology were observed; and the corrosion product was tested by X-ray diffraction. The results showed that slight corrosion occurred on the surface of X80pipeline steel in high pH soil simulated solution, but the corrosion in ku'erle soil was serious, and the corrosion rate in ku′erle soil solution was about3times as much as that of in high pH simulated soil solution. It is mainly because X80pipeline steel in simulated ku'erle soil solution shows an active dissolution state, and the corrosion products film is very loose and chipped off, so the protection performance is very poor. However, X80steel is passivated easily in high pH simulated soil solution, moreover, the FeCO3 corrosion products film formed in high pH simulated soil solution has a blocking effect, so the metal is protected from corroding and the corrosion rate is lower. |
