Abstract:
      Aluminum alloy suffers from corrosion damage in natural environment, which greatly reduces the service life. With the aid of digital image processing technology, fractal theory was introduced to evaluate the corrosion damage parameter, pitting ratio of specimen surface. The proposed method is practical and of engineering value.
