| Objective To study the U.S. military weather-impact decision aids.Methods By collecting plenty of material about U.S. military weather-impact decision aids and doing some comparative analysis on them.Conclusion This article describes two weather-tactical decision aids: the Integrated Weather Effects Decision Aid and the Target Acquisition Weapons Software.ResultsWeather-impact decision aids give the commander an edge by allowing both a determination of the optimum selection of weapon systems and a comparison with threat systems under current or forecast weather. |
