Abstract:
ObjectiveTo study the effect of coupled vibration on the isolation system.MethodsA dynamic modal of the isolation system was built, and a modal analysis of the isolation system was conducted with FEM software, and then frequency-sweep tests were used to find out the effects of mass eccentricity on the response of system. ResultsThe misalignment of the installation center and the elastic center was the cause for the coupling of linear and angular vibrations. ConclusionThree demands were proposed on the shock absorber in engineering installation: to ensure the alignment of the elastic spindle and the principal axis of inertia to avoid eccentricity; to increase the installation radius and increase the ratio of the angle vibration and linear vibration frequency; and to increase the amount of axle sleeve positioning equipment to increase the accuracy and service life.
