Abstract: |
Objective To extract the asynchronous impulsive noise from the power communication line and obtain the source of particular kind of noise. Methods A simple measurement system was constructed to detect the asynchronous impulsive noises. Results The Feature Selective Validation ( FSV) method was able to successfully recognize the impulsive noise produced in the power line by the connection of a kettle. Meanwhile, the statistical analysis was proved useless in the recognition of asynchronous impulsive noise. Conclusion The asynchronous impulsive noise in the low-voltage power communication line could be recognized by setting threshold values for the results of MAF-FSV method, and the change in the topological structure of the low-voltage power line network could then be determined. |
