Abstract: |
Objective To validate the adaptability requirement of a liquid rocket engine in low temperature environment. Methods Low-temperature validation test was accomplished. The environmental state of a rocket carrier platform under specific operation conditions was simulated and the surface temperatures for specific points of the rocket carrier platform were measured. By means of comparing the real temperature data, the temperature variations and the operation requirements of key subassemblies, it was analyzed whether the local actual temperature conditions satisfied the operation requirements of the internal key subassemblies. Results The temperature data and temperature variations of the focused subassemblies under low-temperature conditions were obtained. Conclusion According to the results of test, it was verified that the temperature state of focused subassemblies satisfied the technical requirements for product design and operation under certain low-temperature conditions. The validating test and the conclusion provide reference for the use of this type of rocket engine system in low-temperature environment. |
