Abstract:
      Purpose Optimizing the sprayed method in LT-MED system, improving the heat exchange efficiency of seawater desalination. Method Malvern Spray droplet analyzer, high-speed camera and auto overturn water meter were used to research the centrifugal swirl nozzle CJ-9 with different diameter. Result At the same diameter of the nozzle, droplet size distribution of the uniformity was significantly increased with the increase of water pressure. With the increase of water pressure, the liquid breakage of the same nozzle becomes dense, and the length of the broken liquid film becomes shorter, the crushing effect was better, the atomization performance was better. The higher the inlet pressure was, the higher the peak value of the edge flow was, the more obvious the hollowing rate was. At the same pressure, the larger the diameter of the nozzle, the shorter the span of the formation of double-crest; at the same diameter of the nozzle, the greater the inlet pressure, the longer the span of the formation of double crests, the higher the edge flow peak. Conclusion The uniformity of droplet size distribution was significantly improved with the increase of water pressure or with the decrease of the diameter of the nozzle. Spray density had two peaks in diameter direction, the principle of superposition of "peak valley" could be used to meet the uniformity needs of LT-MED system.
