Abstract: |
Objective To improve the accuracy of environmental worthiness evaluation of military materials, and enhance the application level of environmental worthiness basic data resources. Methods Environmental worthiness data for rubber, plastic, alloy steel and so on, which were accumulated by Chongqing Engineering Research Center for Environmental Corrosion and Protection for near 30 years, have been analyzed with the principle of homogeneous military materials, the same test environment, the same test mode and the same performance. Results The concept of environmental worthiness benchmarking data for military materials has been put forward in this paper, and the main function of environmental worthiness benchmarking data has been also described briefly. The framework of environmental worthiness benchmarking data system has been constructed preliminarily. Two kinds of application methods about environmental worthiness benchmarking data have been brought forward, and the advantages and disadvantages for two kinds of methods have been analyzed. Finally, the application procedure of environmental worthiness benchmarking data has been listed and clarified with the environmental worthiness evaluation of military polymer materials. Conclusion The environmental worthiness evaluation of homogeneous military materials by dint of environmental worthiness benchmarking data system possesses superior accuracy. |
