Abstract: |
The ultra high frequency(UHF) electromagnetic radiation environment of both a 500kV AC substation and two 500kV AC transmission lines was tested and analyzed in order to research the electromagnetic radiation environment by UHV power transmission. The result shows that the upper frequency of the UHF radiation field around the substation is 1GHz, and that of the transmission lines is 700MHz. The distribution of the UHF radiation filed is different of bundle conductors. When transmitting in the atmosphere, the mainly components of the radiation electric field is vertical polarization, and the peak values of the radiation signals decay rapidly with the distance increasing with a nonlinear relationship between them. As the distance increasing, the lower frequency components of the field signal are dominant. The test results have significance for study the UHF electromagnetic environment of the high-voltage transmission. |
