Abstract: |
Objective To confirm the feasibility of maintenance scheme for Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) of offshore platform. Methods The protection effectiveness of ICCP under two working conditions was compared and analyzed by numerical simulation computation. Results The protective potential distribution of the platform structure was obtained when the ICCP was in the best protection state under the two working conditions. Conclusion When the remote type ICCP system is invalid, the maintenance scheme can provide cathodic protection well by adding two sets of tension type ICCP systems. |
