Abstract:
Objective To study the galvanic corrosion behavior between TA2 (micro arc oxidation) and high strength steel under three flow rates. Methods The electrochemical test and the galvanic corrosion test were studied in 1 m/s, 3 m/s and 7 m/s of sea water under area radio of 1:1. Results The galvanic current, total corrosion rate and galvanic corrosion increased with the increase of flow rate. When the flow velocity increased to 7 m/s, total corrosion rate and galvanic corrosion rate of high strength steel reached 8.64 mm/a and 0.39 mm/a respectively, it increased by 146 times and 15.6 times respectively compared with static state, while it increased by 8.6 times and 5 times respectively compared with the velocity of 1 m/s. Conclusion The area ratio is 1:1, and the erosion corrosion rate is far greater than the galvanic corrosion rate.
