Abstract:
Objective To carry out comparative study of two kinds of chlorides deposition rates determination methods in marine atmosphere. Methods According to characteristics of wet candle and dry plate methods, Cl- deposition rate was monitored under various conditions by using the two methods in Wanning exposure station marine platform, offshore test site, inner test site and roofs of different distance away from the sea. Influences of humidity, ventilation, sampling orientation, chloride ion pollution degree on monitoring results of the two sampling methods were studied by using the signed rank of paired data and test method. The relationship between meteorological factors and Cl- deposition rate was analyzed by using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. Results Humidity, ventilation, sampling direction were important factors, and that the greater the degree of chloride pollution was, the greater the degree of influence. Conclusion The combined results of many effects lead to that the Cl- deposition rate of the wet candle method is higher than that of the dry plate method.
