| Objective To evaluate the residual storage life of rubber sealing ring that has been stored with ammunition for a period of time. Methods Compression set of old rubber sealing ring in the accelerated aging test was used to extrapolate the aging dynamics equation of compression set and time under the storage temperature and then calculate the residual storage life of the rubber sealing life based on failure critical value. Results The assessment method for residual storage life of old rubber sealing ring was established. Conclusion The method is suitable for assessing the residual storage life of old rubber sealing ring. |
