Abstract:
      Absorption coefficient and sound insulation are typical parameters of acoustic properties of materials. Firstly, the significance of absorption coefficient and sound insulation testing techniques was analyzed, which pointed out that the improvement of sound absorption coefficient and sound insulation testing techniques met the development demand of advanced weapon equipment in China. Then, the main laboratory test methods and standards of absorption coefficient and sound insulation at home and abroad were combed. The impedance tube method, reverberation chamber method and Alpha cabins method for measuring sound absorption were introduced in detail and the research progress on impedance tube method, reverberation chamber method, reverberation chamber-Anechoic chamber method and Alpha cabin for measuring sound insulation were also analyzed and the advantages and disadvantages of various testing methods were analyzed. Finally, the development trend of this field was prospected.
