Abstract:
According to the current situation of Christmas tree corrosion protection technology at domestic and overseas, the corrosion protection technology for underwater Chistmas trees is systematically explored from aspects including the corrosion environment, material selection, cathodic protection and coating protection, and the advantages and disadvantages of various technologies are compared and analyzed. In terms of material selection, the service environment, service requirements and material properties of the tree are mainly explored, and the common subsea tree materials, such as 316L, 25Cr7Ni4Mo duplex stainless steel, 30CrMo steel and Inconel 625, are analyzed and summarized. In the terms of cathodic protection, the application of sacrificial anode in Christmas tree corrosion and protection was investigated. In the aspect of coating protection, the research progress, standards and types of heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings for underwater Christmas trees are reviewed and analyzed. In terms of corrosion faluire, the failure causes and failure analysis principles and procedures are investigated. Finally, the development of tree corrosion protection materials selection, cathodic protection, coating protection and corrosion failure were prospected.
