Abstract: |
The work aims to analyze the methods for corrosion protection throughout the full life cycle of helicopters based on the corrosion problems exposed during their actual use. By summarizing the corrosion situation of helicopters used on land and at sea, typical corrosion problems and improvement measures of helicopters were studied. On this basis, the reasons of helicopter corrosion were further analyzed in terms of environment, design, production, manufacturing and maintenance. The easily corroded parts, corrosion characteristics and hazards of helicopters were summarized. A comprehensive approach of "design assurance, production implementation, and maintenance" was proposed to enhance the full life cycle corrosion protection capability of helicopters. And an analysis was conducted on the corrosion control manual, cleaning, coating repair, sealants/corrosion inhibitors and other issues that needed to be focused on during the maintenance and repair process in the field. It was proposed to accelerate the application of advanced anti-corrosion technology in helicopter anti-corrosion. It has certain guiding significance for effectively carrying out full life cycle corrosion protection throughout the full life cycle of helicopters. |
